Happy New Year! A new year deserves a new goal or objective. Let's not call it a resolution, because those never last. But a goal you can keep reaching for, so with this year I will post a pic a day from my EOS M! First up a coral from my saltwater tank. This little guy started out at just a quarter size and is now four times bigger! 55mm, f5.6 @ ISO 500.

The little camera that could.
If you are a Canon lover like me. You've probably heard all the bad news about the Canon EOS M camera. Slow. Slow. Slow. Focus that is. Which sent the price of the camera spiraling down.
Well a firmware update has been recently released to fix that issue. And if you picked one up at the bargain price you may just have the best deal of all.

Snow!
It has been a pretty easy winter this year, so when I woke up to a light snowfall I knew it was a picture day. The snow was light and fluffy, sticking to even the smallest branches. I let my Canon do all the work, but then tweaked it in Aperture. Although they were not right in my backyard, it wasn't too hard to find a few unique places to shoot. One place I had used in the summer for a model shoot.
